Dr. Gurley has led high performing large teams in her career but found time to be a leader to the individual. This led her to continue her coaching outside of her professional life as she has been a resource for many start-ups, Ph.D Candidates researching Health IT as well as every day professionals seeking professional growth and advancement in their careers.
Dr. Gurley believes that the glass ceiling is meant to be broken; careers should add value by challenging us and also using our skills and talents daily, and finally that if we can’t bring our whole selves to the job we are in the wrong role.
